Nithin's Thammudu Sets Release Date – Here's When You Can Watch It

Nithiin's latest film, Thammudu, which has been in production for more than two years, is now out. The release date has finally been set by the creators, and the action drama will debut on July 4, 2025. Initially, Vijay Deverakonda's new movie Kingdom, who rose to fame with Pelli Choopulu, had blocked this date, but the creators of Thammudu were able to get it when that movie was postponed.

This movie was directed by Venu Sriram, best known for his role in Vakeel Saab, and Dil Raju was the producer. This sibling drama stars Nithiin as the protagonist. The former star heroine Laya is making a comeback this year, and she will be seen as Nithiin's sister.

Kantara fame Saptami Gowda is making her Telugu debut with this film, and as per reports, she has a strong role. Dil Raju, known for Balagam, has bankrolled the project and invested heavily in it.

For reasons unknown, Thammudu was delayed in production, and the release was postponed because Nithiin’s other film, Robinhood, directed by Chalo and Bheeshma fame Venky Kudumula, was released first. Unfortunately, that comedy caper flopped at the box office and is now streaming on Zee5.

Low buzz for Dil Raju's Thammudu

Meanwhile, the makers have readied the trailer of Thammudu and plan to release it soon. Though Dil Raju is known for making successful films, his recent track record hasn't been strong, which has affected the buzz around this project. Nithiin will be seen in an action-packed role in a film that reportedly carries a social message.

In the coming days, it remains to be seen what strategies the makers adopt to keep the film in the news. For now, the release date has finally been locked for July 4, 2025.
