The most recent Malayalam movie, Narivetta, began streaming on OTTplay Premium and SonyLiv on July 10, 2025, after its theatrical debut on May 23. The movie is based on the 2003 Muthanga disturbance in Kerala. Additionally, we observe the quandary that at least some of the officers face as they are torn between their responsibilities and fundamental human sympathy.

Abin Joseph's screenplay fuels the movie, but the most driving force behind it is the performances of Tovnio Thomas, Suraj Venjaramoodu, Cheran, and Arya Salim.
