ZEE5 is supporting young talent and creating original shows in the Telugu OTT scene. The next release is Motevari Love Story, a funny village drama set in Telangana's countryside. What makes this series special is that popular YouTuber Anil Geela stars as the lead. The series has been produced by well-known director Madhura Sreedhar.

Varshini Reddy stars as the female lead in this new series shot entirely in a small Telangana town. What started as a YouTube channel called Village Show Movies has now become a full production house. They created this funny web series with seven episodes.

The story unfolds during a single wedding, where misunderstandings lead to a series of hilarious moments. Chaos breaks out at the wedding, and the creators say it’s all shown in a very funny way.

Siva Krishna wrote the script and also directed the show. It was made on a tight budget but still promises lots of laughs. Fans can catch the series starting August 8, 2025, on ZEE5 and OTTplay Premium..

Anil Geela shared that there wasn’t much room to show off much content through YouTube videos, but they were waiting for a chance to create a big film or web series. He mentions Madhura Sreedhar was the one who signed on as co-producer, and he approved the web series without even reading the script. Anil says Sreedhar didn’t hesitate and gave the go-ahead in just one sitting. After the producer agreed, the team took the project to ZEE5, who approved it quickly. The team believes this funny web series will stand out and impress everyone.

Madhura Sreedhar added that he had been watching Village Show videos on YouTube for a long time. He always wanted to work with Anil Geela. Now that he got the chance, Sreedhar said he loved the script and is excited to be part of the project.

The young Tollywood actor Anand Deverakonda started the Moti Vari Love Story today with a bang. He is now quite thrilled to see what the young crew has produced now that they are working on a film.
