The producers had originally planned to release Special Ops 2 on July 11, but they recently revealed that the series will now launch on JioHotstar (OTTplay Premium) on July 18. Himmat Singh portrayed by Kay Kay Menon

Himmat Singh will be played by Kay Kay Menon once more. He reprises his role from earlier seasons as a top RAW official. The plot of his and his crew's cyberterrorism fight centers on the risks posed by artificial intelligence and possible privacy violations.

Farooq Ali is portrayed by Karan Tacker

Farooq Ali, an undercover cop, is played again by Karan Tacker. With Himmat Singh and the rest of the group, he will face problems pertaining to artificial intelligence and cybersecurity in the upcoming season. Farooq has become an alter ego for Tacker, with whom he feels a strong connection, as he disclosed. Additionally, he highlighted the emotional resonance of the show's plot, notably the connection between Farooq and Himmat Singh.

Abbas Sheikh, played by Vinay Pathak

In Special Ops 2, Vinay Pathak reprised his role as Inspector Abbas Sheikh, Himmat Singh's reliable partner in the Delhi Police. He maintains his mix of comedy and steel, offering Himmat support and companionship as he navigates new difficulties.

Avinash as played by Muzammil Ibrahim

Avinash, a figure who has both lethal accuracy and profound emotional complexity, is played by Muzammil Ibrahim. The cast welcomes Tahir Raj Bhasin

Special Ops 2 now includes Tahir Raj Bhasin. He is the primary villain. His character is a master data manipulator and hacker, which is in contrast to the typical action-oriented antagonist, according to the show's creators. In the context of current programs that address cyberterrorism and espionage, this makes him a real and serious threat.
