The makers of the upcoming Malayalam film, Meesha, has dropped a teaser today (June 21). The clip shows a glimpse into the plot as well as the main characters played by Hakim Shajahan, Tamil actor Kathir and Shine Tom Chacko. Kathir is making his Malayalam debut with this action drama, which is expected to release in theatres soon.

In the one-minute and twenty-six-second clip, Kathir and Hakim Shajahan portray two close friends. It is said that the two had been buddies since their school days. Unexpected problems, however, cause them to drift apart and become erratic in their intentions and actions. Shine Tom Chacko plays a negative part as well. Set in a remote forest area, the teaser also features some heated moments between the protagonists. In this film, Kathir is depicted as portraying a Malayali character. Overall, it is clear that Meesha will be a powerful entertainer with these young actors giving some standout performances.

Cast and crew of Meesha

The film is directed by Emcy Joseph, who previously helmed the Soubin Shahir-starring film Vikruthi, which marked his debut as a filmmaker. Sudhy Kopa, Srikant Murali, Unni Lal, and Jeo Baby are among the actors in Meesha's supporting cast. The movie is being made by Unicorn Movies, with Sajeer Gafur serving as the producer. Sunny Thazhuthala is Meesha's line producer, while Ratheesh Palode and Unni C are the main associate directors. The tagline for Meesha is "Shades of Yellow." The film's soundtrack and background score were written by Sooraj S. Kurup. Capital Cinemas will release the movie in theaters. The producers are anticipated to provide a trailer and a precise launch date in the near future.

Although Kathir appeared in Suzhal: The Vortex, Hakim starred in the most recent Malayalam movies, Kadha Innuvare and Kadakan. Sun NXT and OTTplay Premium are both offering streaming of Kadakan. With this Malayalam film, Kathir, who became well-known for his performances in Pariyerum Perumal and Vikram Vedha, is anticipated to have a spectacular debut.
