TN Seetharam, a well-known figure in Kannada television content since the 1990s with programs like Mukha Mukhi, Male Billu, Muktha, Maha Parva, and Magalu Janaki, among others, has moved into the realms of web series. Seetharam announced the beginning of filming for the show Maya Murder Case earlier this week on social media. The cast includes Pavan Wadeyar, Hanumantha Gowda, Siri Ravikumar, Manasi Sudhir, and Nagarjun.

Where to Watch the Maya Murder Case

a crime thriller in which Seetharam will also appear as a special prosecutor. The director had also shared information on the show's availability upon its completion. He had written that the Maya Murder Case would be available on Bhoomika Mini OTT. If you're curious about the platform, it's probably a branch of Seetharam's Bhoomika Productions, which already has a YouTube channel named Bhoomika Talkies. This channel features Seetharam's serials, such as Mukha Mukhi, Mayamruga, Mohini vs. Mahalinga, Mukta, and others.

It is still unclear whether Maya Murder Case will be featured on a YouTube channel or if Seetharam will create a platform solely for his programs, similar to how the producers of the Kannada web series Ekam did the previous year. The producers have not yet revealed a release window. It's strange that Seetharam's series has not appeared on any popular OTT platform given his lengthy relationship with several television channels.

For a long time, OTTs have avoided the Kannada web series market. Voot had purchased a few items, including By Mistake and Honeymoon, which were created by Sakkath Studio and Niveditha Shivarajkumar. These programs are currently available on JioHotstar. Prior to the merger of JioCinema and Hotstar, the former had produced a Kannada web series called Abhi I Love You, starring Vikram Ravichandran, but the program did not attract much attention. There would be no other Kannada series until 2025, when Zee5 finally released its first program, Ayyana Mane.
