The next Tamil movie, Maareesan, features Vadivelu and Fahadh Faasil in the main roles. After their debut in the social political drama Maamannan, the picture will be released in theaters on July 25 and represents the actors' second partnership. The creators of Maareesan released the teaser, which appears to depict a road journey taken by two men, Vadivelu and Fahadh Faasil. The movie, which is helmed by Sudheesh Sankar and backed by RB Choudhary under Super Good Films as the banner's 100th project, is titled "The Hundredth."

The movie will now feature Vadivelu as an Alzheimer's sufferer who has just taken money from the ATM, according to the director. The protagonist of Fahadh Faasil, who has noticed this, wants to rob him. The two men grow closer by pretending to bring Vadivelu from Nagercoil to Thiruvanamalai. The remainder of the movie is about whether Vadivelu will be swindled out of his money.

Maareesan's OTT partner

Maareesan's post-theatrical streaming rights have been secured by Netflix. Maareesan will debut in theaters on July 25, and the movie will be accessible for streaming after its theatrical run. In addition to Fahadh Faasil and Vadivelu, the movie stars actors such as Livingston, Telephone Raja, Saravana Subbiah, Krishna, Renuka, PL Thenappan, Vivek Prasanna, Sithara, Kovai Sarala, and Haritha.

The technical crew includes Yuvan Shankar Raja composing the music with Kalaiselvan Sivaji as the cinematographer. Sreejith Sarang is the editor. The story, screenplay and dialogues have been penned by V Krishna Moorthy who is also the creative director.

Meanwhile you can stream Vadivelu and Fahadh Faasil’s Maamannan on Netflix. Directed by Mari Selvaraj, the film shows a different shade of the actors, who play roles that are opposite to each other.
