Vijay Kanakamedala of Naandhi fame directed the official remake of the Tamil blockbuster Gaurdan, which is known as Bhairavam. The movie, which stars Nara Rohith, Bellamkonda Srinivas, and Manchu Manoj in the main roles, was launched on May 30, 2025, and had a respectable debut at the box office.

The third day's collections from Bhairavam

Bhairavam was able to produce respectable numbers over the weekend because there were no significant Telugu film releases. The movie made a net income of ₹2.7 crore worldwide on its third day of release. Its overall gross receipts have now surpassed the 14 crore rupee threshold.

Bhairavam should expect a break at the box office given the current holiday season. However, the film's revenues in the Telugu states were impacted by the IPL game, as it was on course to earn a little over ₹3 crore on Sunday.

Bellamkonda Srinivas, who is famous for Rakshasudu, is overjoyed by the movie's popularity and says he is pleased that audiences are responding positively to his harsh new persona. The Telugu version makes a lot of modifications from the original, including a more audience-friendly style and several scenes that are sure to please the fans.

With this film, in which he plays a grownup role and turns out to be the unexpected highlight of the narrative, Nara Rohith makes a comeback. After a nine-year hiatus, Manchu Manoj of Vedham fame also made his comeback to the big screen, tearing up during the press screening. He attributed his continued presence in the market despite facing considerable personal difficulties to his fans.

The plot of Bhairavam centers on three pals who argue about a disagreement over the ownership of a temple site. The movie will be available on Zee5 in the second week of July 2026 after the platform purchased the digital rights.

It is still unknown how the movie will fare during the weekdays. The filmmakers are ecstatic about the reaction, claiming that the film has found a safe space and that all recent box office receipts are contributing to their earnings.
