On June 27, Kajol's next mythological horror movie, Maa, will be released in theaters. Under Vishal's direction As a component of Ajay Devgn's Shaitaan universe, the film Furia is included. The teaser indicates that Maa has a lot of horror components and seems promising. The OTT partner for the movie has been disclosed in advance of its debut.

Because the mythological horror genre has not been well investigated by the Bollywood industry, Kajol's Maa has garnered a lot of notice. In the movie, Kajol portrays a loving mother who is tasked with shielding her child from an evil presence. When they arrive to a cursed town associated to an ancient legend, a mother-daughter road journey becomes a terrible nightmare. The movie delves into themes of superhuman battle, ancient curses, and maternal authority.

Ajay Devgn and Jyoti Deshpande are the producers, while Vishal Furia is the director. Ronit Roy, Indraneil Sengupta, Kherin Sharma, and Jitin Gulati are among the film's cast members.

Runtime and CBFC certification for the film

Maa was given a UA 16+ rating by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC), which indicates that people 16 and older may view the picture, but parental supervision is necessary for younger audiences. The film, on the other hand, lasts two hours and fifteen minutes, or 135 minutes.
