Dulquer Salmaan became a superstar in Telugu cinema after the commercial success of Lucky Baskhar. After earning more than Rs 100 crore, the movie brought director Venky Atluri to the forefront. The film, starring Suriya in the main role, is now being directed by him, and the production is moving along quickly.

In a recent interview, Venky revealed that the script for Lucky Baskhar 2 is currently being written and that preparations are being made for it. The crime thriller came to an interesting conclusion when Dulquer's character and his family relocated to the United States.

Regarding the sequel, Venky stated, "I never wanted to make a sequel. However, given the film's open conclusion and the overwhelming reception, I thought the plot might continue. It will undoubtedly be a fantastic entertainer since my team has already begun working on it.

The bank employee who carries out a significant crime and becomes wealthy is played by Dulquer Salmaan. He makes a cunning escape to the United States as the police approach. The movie, which was made under the Sithara Entertainments banner by Naga Vamsi, starred Meenakshi Chaudhary in the main role.

On the other hand, Venky was also asked whether his other hit film Sir with Dhanush would get a sequel. The director clearly stated that there are no plans for a Sir 2.

As of now, Venky is focused on the Suriya project, which he describes as a proper family entertainer packed with drama. Mamitha Baiju of Premalu fame plays the female lead, and two schedules have already been completed.
