Malayalam's latest web series, Kerala Crime Files 2, has made its digital debut. The sequel to Malayalam's first web series is now streaming on JioHotstar.

The web series began streaming on the popular OTT platform from 12 am on June 20. It is also accessible in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Kannada, Marathi and Bengali, apart from Malayalam. The first season of Kerala Crime Files, which released in 2023 with positive response from film enthusiasts, is also available on the same platform. The sequel has also garnered praise following its special preview show held in Kochi two days ahead of its digital debut.

All about Kerala Crime Files: The Search for CPO Ambili Raju

The audience's interest was sparked by the trailer and posters for Kerala Crime Files 2, which suggest an exciting investigative thriller. A rookie SI Noble-led investigation team that picks up the missing case of a police officer is the subject of the online series. CPO Ambili Raju, a police officer who is moved due to his intricate ties at different levels, is the subject of the disappearance. However, further proof emerges as Noble delves more into Ambili Raju's life, connecting them to a number of other offenses and making the situation more complicated. The online series centers on what happened with Ambili Raju and how Noble and his team handle this crime.

The web series has six episodes, each lasting over half an hour. This web series is directed by Ahammed Khabeer, who is well-known for his films such as June and Madhuram. In the second season of Kerala Crime Files, notable roles are played by Arjun Radhakrishnan, Indrans, Harisree Ashokan, Aju Varghese, Lal, Jeo Baby, Shibla Fara, Navas Vallikunnu, Sanju Sanichen, and Sirajudheen Nazar. Bahul Ramesh, who is well-known for his Kishkinda Kandam movies, wrote the script for the crime drama, which is being produced by Monkey Business Cinemas, the director's newly established production company.
