One of the most anticipated Telugu movies, Uppu Kappurambu, is scheduled to debut on Amazon Prime on July 4, 2025. The movie, which was helmed by Ani I. V. Sasi, is generating a lot of excitement. In an interview, he said that the film is a satirical social drama that addresses the idea of unity in diversity on a microcosm.

In addition to Keerthy Suresh playing the main role, the movie also has Suhas playing a significant part. Keerthy Suresh portrays a naive young village sarpanch who is compelled to accept the position following her father's passing, as disclosed by Ani. The narrative, he continues, follows a helpless sarpanch as he tries to address significant issues in the community, notably those pertaining to the burial plot, by asking for assistance from a burial ground worker who is also dealing with his own difficulties.

A burial site in a little hamlet with only four cremation spots remaining is shown in the trailer. The film's fundamental premise is how things get out of hand and how the people struggle to assert their rights to these locations.

"The film's main theme is to demonstrate unity despite diversity. Ani describes how the characters of Suhas and Keerthy Suresh come together and bring the community together for a social cause in a lighthearted manner.

The director said, "Suhas has starred in a number of rural village dramas in the past," when questioned about casting him in such a part. We thought he would be a great fit for the job of a burial ground worker after seeing a few of his shows. Ani concludes, "Additionally, there is an intriguing dynamic between Suhas and Keerthy Suresh's two distinct acting techniques."

With the whole filming completed in just 28 days, Uppu Kappurambu was produced on a very limited budget. According to sources, Keerthy filmed for 18 days, while Suhas was present for 20. The film has a lot of hype, particularly because Suhas, who is known for his socially conscious and realistic dramas, is involved in the project.
