One of the most anticipated Telugu OTT releases is Uppu Kappurambu. The Amazon Prime original, starring Keerthy Suresh and Suhas, will debut on July 4, 2025. In a government official position, Keerthy Suresh is a nerd who finds himself in mayhem surrounding a cemetery. The way this young, straightforward officer deals with difficult situations is depicted in a funny way.

Keerthy Suresh described the role by saying that she fell in love with the geeky persona of the protagonist girl the moment director Sasi told her about it. "The design of my appearance struck me right away. My character is known for always making mistakes, and she is also innocent. When a character like that becomes trapped in local politics, it's something new, and I embraced it wholeheartedly.

The Mahanati star also adds that this is the first time she’s been offered something so different, and the role gave her a great opportunity to explore her fun side. “The way I react to situations and the situational comedy in serious moments is what sets this film apart from others,” adds Keerthy.

The story revolves around a burial ground that only has space left for four more cremations. Keerthy’s character is tasked with auctioning off the space—and all hell breaks loose. How she defuses the situation with the help of Suhas forms the basic plot.

Keerthy said of her time working with Suhas, "Suhas is a natural performer and an actor to watch out for. One of Uppu Kappurambu's most notable features is our distinctive pairing. The picture is being released straight on OTT because its material is unique, like an experiment.

It has been a while since the celebrity star played in a Telugu movie, and she is immensely well-liked in the Telugu states. "Everyone has seen me in serious roles or as the typical heroine. I'm curious to see how people react to my humorous character, which is the first time I've ever played such a wild role," she says in conclusion.
