Special Ops is one of the most-loved thrillers, and fans have been awaiting season 2 for ages. After teasing fans, the makers have unveiled the trailer as well as the OTT release date. Starring Kay Kay Menon, Karan Tacker, and more, Special Ops 2.0 promises a more intense plot, and it is going to be Menon's Himmat Singh and his team vs. cyber-terrorism, especially Artificial Intelligence.

Special Ops 2.0 Trailer
On June 16, JioHotstar revealed that Special Ops 2.0 will be released on July 11. They also unveiled the trailer. The 2-minute and 10-second trailer shows Himmat Singh (Kay Kay Menon) vs cyber-terrorism, especially Artificial Intelligence (AI). As the largest user of UPI, India is currently under threat from global privacy breaches. Himmat Singh has once again assembled his trusted team to take on their digital enemy, secretly, of course, but this time, everyone is a target.
"In now, the nation that prevails in the cyber war will prevail in everything," stated Himmat Singh in the thrilling teaser for Special Ops 2.
Special Ops 2.0's cast
Karan Tacker, Vinay Pathak, Muzammil Ibrahim, Saiyami Kher, and Meher Vij are all returning to their previous roles, while Kay Kay Menon is prepared to reprise his beloved fan-favorite character, Himmat Singh.
The original cast will be joined by Prakash Raj and Tahir Raj Bhasin. For those who are unaware, Special Ops 2 has been shot in places outside of Budapest, Turkey, and Georgia.
At the same time, Special Ops 2.0 focuses on the risks of cyber-terrorism and a possible worldwide privacy breach, with India, a significant user of UPI, as a main target. The article underscores the significance of cyber warfare, and the series stresses that the country that prevails in this conflict will eventually succeed.

Neeraj Pandey, the creator of Special Ops, asked if a third installment is possible. The director said on Special Ops 3, "I don't know." Let's release [Special Ops] 2. We'll get your feedback and everything, and if the audiences urge us to create another one, then why not!
