The Telugu version’s title, Annagaru Vostaru, translates roughly to "The Elder Brother is Coming," a title perfectly pitched to resonate with the mass appeal and respectful tone often associated with Karthi's roles in the Telugu market.

This strategic titling, moving away from a direct translation, is a smart play by the producers, KE Gnanavel Raja, to maximize regional connect. Karthi has built a strong reputation in the Telugu film industry with successful dubbed ventures like Khakee and Khaidi, and Annagaru Vostaru is poised to capitalize on that goodwill. While the Tamil version is scheduled for December 5th, the Telugu team announced only a general "December release," hinting at a possible slight delay to avoid major clashes with other big releases.

Directed by Nalan Kumarasamy, known for his unique cinematic voice, Vaa Vaathiyaar promises a fresh, action-comedy concept.
