Vishnu Manchu's new film, Kannappa, has captured everyone's attention. The film is currently in its fifth day of release and has so far generated respectable revenue. It defied expectations by passing the Monday test with flying colors, even though it was predicted to slow down during the weekdays.

However, on day five, Kannappa saw a dip, collecting only Rs 2 crore at the box office. With several big films releasing this week, the collections are likely to drop further.

Vishnu Manchu has invested a lot of money into the film and is yet to finalize the OTT rights for Kannappa. However, we now hear that a noted satellite channel has bagged the rights for a whopping Rs 20 crore. A close aide reveals that Vishnu has just closed this deal for a fancy price and will soon finalize the OTT deal as well.

The movie, which is directed by Mukesh Kumar Singh, has music by Stephen Devassy, whose talent is becoming increasingly well-known. Vishnu's children, Ariana, Viviana, and Avram Manchu, all made cameo appearances in the movie, while his father, Mohan Babu, had a significant role. The entire Manchu family has participated in the film.

Following the success of Kannappa, Preity Mukundan becomes an overnight hit.

With her beauty and performance gaining hearts, Preity Mukundan, who played the female protagonist, has become a star in Telugu film. Prabhas, Mohanlal, and Akshay Kumar also made cameo appearances in Kannappa. Surprisingly, Akshay Kumar received a large salary for his performance, but Prabhas and Mohanlal received no money for theirs.

Kannappa is Vishnu’s dream project, one he has been trying to make for over a decade. Now, that dream has come true, and his performance, especially in the climax, is drawing praise. It remains to be seen how much more the film will earn in the coming days.
