Worldwide box office collection for Thug Life Day 3: Mani Ratnam and Kamal Haasan's debut picture, Thug Life, isn't doing as well as anticipated. The movie recovered on Saturday after a lukewarm reception and a sharp decline in revenue on Friday. According to Sacnilk, it has made ₹62.50 crore in three days worldwide.

According to the trade website, Thug Life made ₹30.40 crore net and ₹35.40 crore gross in India over the course of three days. Its total revenue increased to ₹62.50 crore with the addition of ₹26.70 crore from foreign markets. With a revenue of 7.15 crore, the movie debuted in India with 15.5 crores and then fell on Saturday. It earned ₹7.75 crore and somewhat improved on Saturday. The majority of the film's earnings come from its Tamil version, while the Hindi and Telugu versions bring in less than Rs 1 crore each day.

Following Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh-Telangana, Karnataka has been a strong market for both Mani and Kamal's films. Despite opposition, Shankar's Kamal-starrer Indian 2 earned ₹8.55 crore out of its ₹81.9 crore in Karnataka. Ponniyin Selvan I and II made ₹28.12 crore and ₹22.55 crore, respectively, out of ₹313.36 crore and ₹214.63 crore. Following a linguistic dispute in which Kamal declined to apologize, the state has outlawed Thug Life. It is still unknown how well the movie will do on Sunday, but it appears to be doing well internationally.
