The teaser launch in Mumbai marks the formal start of the promotional campaign for KD The Devil, the newest film by Action Prince Dhruva Sarja. KVN Productions, a banner that has made headlines for supporting Rocking Star Yash's upcoming Toxic and Tamil megastar Vijay's recent Jana Nayagan, has produced the film. Prem, who directed KD The Devil, had previously directed Ek Love Ya. The movie came after Dhruva's Martin, a film that was widely criticized and at the center of a controversy when the team launched legal proceedings against numerous critics, notably in the Hindi region.

As a result, it was quite daring to debut the teaser for KD The Devil in Mumbai. A large portion of the media there had been turned against Dhruva and Martin's crew. As a result, the teaser had to make the point that the actor is giving something far superior to the audience this time around. However, is that the case? Judging by the response to the teaser for KD The Devil, Showman Prem's images have polarized viewers.

Of course, die-hard Dhruva supporters are raving about the amazing vibe, mass action, and violence, but there are also a sizable number of people who are not at all impressed. Many viewers are comparing it to Martin 2.0 and referring to it as jathre. They haven't been pleased with much, from subpar VFX to uninspired graphics, dubbing, and other things. The most significant concern is that movies like KD harm the Kannada industry, which is aiming for global and pan-Indian recognition with works like Kantara Chapter 1 and Toxic.

The KD teaser's depiction of Dhruva Sarja's body language and mannerisms reminded me a lot of Martin and Pogaru, which may not be a good omen for the picture, but then, this is just the teaser, and it would be foolish to draw any conclusions from it. In early September, the movie, which also features Sanjay Dutt, Shilpa Shetty, Ramesh Aravind, V Ravichandran, and Reeshma Nanaiah, is slated to hit theaters.
