The movie Junior, which served as the launchpad for Kireeti, the son of businessman and politician G Janardhan Reddy, is now ready for its theatrical debut after being released in theaters over three years ago. Radhakrishna Reddy, who is well-known for Mayabazar, is the director of the film, which stars Kireeti and Sreeleela. Although it was initially planned to be a bilingual in Kannada and Telugu, it is said to be coming out on July 18, 2025, in five languages.

The crew unveiled a teaser in advance of the movie's theatrical debut, giving viewers an introduction to the main character, a happy-go-lucky college student who is more focused on creating memories on campus than on his studies. In contrast, Sreeleela is goal-oriented and driven, and she doesn't fall for Kireeti's antics.

The movie, which stars Genelia Deshmukh and is billed as a thrilling family entertainment, was intended to be her return vehicle. However, in the interim between the production of Junior and its release, she worked on Aamir Khan's Sitaare Zameen Par, which is now in theaters. According to reports, the actress is playing Kireeti's sister in the film, and Crazy Star Ravichandran is his father.

Devi Sri Prasad is the film's composer, Peter Hein is responsible for the action, Senthil Kumar is the cinematographer, and Niranjan Devaramane is the editor, among other members of the technical team. This one, similar to the title announcement teaser, does just what it was asked to do: give Kireeti the opportunity to flex his muscles and display his diverse range of talents.

In the meantime, Junior returns Sreeleela to Kannada film following the release of By Two Love in 2022. In addition to her forthcoming debut in Bollywood, the actress has been working on a number of Telugu films.

The most recent addition to the roster of politicians' offspring in film is Kireeti. Nikhil Kumaraswamy, who has starred in a few films, as well as HM Revanna's son Anup Revanna, are among the more recent crop. Last but not least, Zaid Khan, the son of Zameer Ahmed Khan, made his debut with Banaras and is said to be working on a movie named Cult with Sachin, the son of N Cheluvarayaswamy.
