Junior, starring debutante Kireeti Reddy, Genelia Deshmukh, Sreeleela, and V. Ravichandran in significant roles, is the most recent Telugu movie to generate buzz before its debut. The film's youthful drama began with an upbeat speech, and as the word of mouth spread, the picture had respectable occupancy from day two onward, aided by a lengthy holiday in the Telugu-speaking regions.

Recent Junior Collections

The movie had a fantastic start during its first three days. Everyone predicted that the movie would flop after its first day, but Junior earned ₹1 crore on its fourth day. Given that the movie stars a newcomer in the lead role, this is a respectable collection, but Junior is seeing good occupancy, owing to the presence of well-known celebrities in important parts and strong music by DSP.

In certain regions of Andhra Pradesh, though, the collection rate has decreased. Junior has earned a respectable net income of about Rs 7 crore thus far.

Despite the film being labeled as commonplace, the producers made every effort to ensure its success, and one could argue that actor Kireeti Reddy has excelled in it. His debut performance has been highly praised. Audiences have been wowed by his passionate speeches, fights, and dances.

Genelia Deshmukh is the person who is being discussed the most in addition to Kireeti Reddy. After a 13-year hiatus, she returned to Telugu cinema, where she plays Kireeti Reddy's sister. One of the film's highlights is her performance.

Devi Sri Prasad wrote the music and sang several hit songs for the movie, most notably the item song Viral Vayyari, which has become a viral sensation on Shorts. In fact, there are people in the theater audience who are only there to see this movie.

Junior yet to lock its OTT platform

This week, with major releases like Kingdom and Hari Hara Veera Mallu lined up, we need to examine how the movie is doing. By introducing media mogul Gali Janardhan Reddy's son Kireeti Reddy to the film industry, Junior has, in a sense, accomplished what it set out to do.

The film has received a significant investment of funds, as seen on the screen. We must wait and see when the movie hits the internet since the OTT platform is still not secure.
