Good Wife (JioHotstar - OTTplay Premium)
The Tamil courtroom drama series Good Wife is about a woman, played by Priyamani, who returns to her legal profession after a scandal involving her husband. The series addresses topics such as betrayal, public examination, and the difficulties of reestablishing one's life and career after a personal tragedy. Halitha Shameem and Siddharth Ramaswamy are the directors of the show. It is a Tamil version of the well-known international series The Good Wife.
Kaalidhar Laapata (ZEE5 - OTTplay Premium)
In this Hindi drama picture, Abhishek Bachchan plays Kaalidhar, a middle-aged guy struggling with memory loss and a feeling of betrayal. The narrative centers around Kaalidhar's choice to vanish after learning that his family intends to leave him at the Maha Kumbh Mela. He and eight-year-old Ballu, an orphan, set out on a journey to complete things on Kaalidhar's bucket list.
The Hunt: The Rajiv Gandhi Assassination Case (SonyLIV - OTTplay Premium)
The Hunt: The Rajiv Gandhi assassination case centers around the 90-day investigation that took place after the murder of former Indian Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi. The series, which is directed by Nagesh Kukunoor, also centers on the Special Investigation Team (SIT) led by D.R. Kaarthikeyan, played by Amit Sial, as they work against the clock to find and apprehend those accountable.
Uppu Kappu Rambu (Prime Video)
Uppu Kappu Rambu is a Telugu satirical comedy set in a fictional village in 1990s Andhra Pradesh, where the lack of burial grounds creates a comedic crisis. The story follows Apoorva (Keerthy Suresh), a newly appointed village head, and Chinna (Suhas), the graveyard caretaker, as they deal with this strange situation and the community's reaction. This film explores themes of community, tradition, and bureaucracy from a comedic perspective, focusing on finding creative solutions to the problem of burial grounds.
