To the joy of moviegoers, several films premiered in theatres in June. Meanwhile, a few Malayalam films are probably going to be released shortly, even though only one has been confirmed to open in theatres next month. The films on this list are most likely to be released in July.

Malayalam films likely to release in June

Janaki v/s State of Kerala

The title and name of the main character in this Suresh Gopi film have caused legal issues. For the same reason, its June release has also been delayed. In the upcoming month, it is anticipated to resolve all the problems and make its big-screen debut. In this courtroom drama, Anupama Parameswaran, Madhav Suresh, Shruti Ramachandran, and Askar Ali also have significant parts.

Flask

The Flask teaser gives a peek into the life of PSO Jyothi Kumar, who begins his career as a security guard for a judge who is intolerant and demanding. Maoists appear to be holding the pair captive, which disrupts their lives. Taking everything into consideration, the film appears to be a funny drama starring Saiju Kurup and Suresh Krishna.

Sumathi Valavu

It was expected that this horror movie, in which Arjun Ashokan plays the lead, would hit theatres in June. However, for unclear reasons, it was postponed. In Sumathi Valavu, Balu Varghese, Gokul Suresh, Saiju Kurup, and Siddharth Bharathan all have important parts. A spooky Thiruvananthapuram folktale served as the inspiration for the movie. 

Pet Detective

Debutante Praneesh Vijayan is the director of this romantic comedy drama. Sharaf U Dheen and Anupama Parameswaran play the main parts in the film. The movie reportedly revolves around a macaw parrot that plays a significant role in a couple's lives and influences the direction of their lives.

Meesha

This action drama, which is anticipated to hit theatres shortly, marks Tamil actor Kathir's Malayalam film debut. Hakim Shajahan and Kathir play two close buddies in the teaser. However, unforeseen issues cause them to fall apart and become unpredictable in their actions. With these young actors putting on some outstanding performances, it is evident that Meesha will be an impressive entertainer overall.
