On the auspicious occasion of Shri Ram Navami, a host of films are being released one after the other. One of them is Journey to Ayodhya, which is being produced by popular producer Venu Donepudi. The film was announced today, and we have more details for you here.

Venu Donepudi wants to ensure that the film is made without compromise, and for that reason, he has chosen director V N Aditya to helm it. In the past, V N Aditya has made multiple films, one of which, Boss, was with superstar Nagarjuna. Most of his film have received critical acclaim in the past and he has now been given a huge responsibility. 

It has been two years since his last film came out, and producer Venu says that the script is ready and the way V N Aditya has penned the characters in the film is superb as Journey to Ayodhya will showcase a terrific journey of a man who is on a devotional trip to Ayodhya and what happens to him the due course of time.

Speaking about the same, producer Venu says that many filmmakers have attempted a film on Ram and Ayodhya, but his film will showcase the story and existence of Ram in a very interesting manner. The script is locked, and as per the update, the director is currently scouting locations for the film in Ayodhya.

The news is also that a popular young hero will play the lead role in this film, and his name will be announced in the days to come. Senior director Thammareddy Bharadwaja is taking care of the production of this project, which will be released on a pan-India level. As of now, Venu Donepudi is producing Viswam with Gopichand as the main lead.
