The Panchayat series took a different path in its fourth season than in its previous episodes. The series also featured a love story between Sachiv Ji and Rinki, played by Jitendra Kumar and Sanvikaa, respectively, in addition to covering the elections in Phulera and the increasing animosity between Manju Devi (Neena Gupta) and Kranti Devi (Sunita Rajwar). The kiss was almost between them, but it has since been referred to as "removed." The details of what transpired have now been made public by Jitendra. This is all he uttered...

The panchayat's kiss is still there, but the angle has shifted

Despite what Panchayat 4 may lead you to believe, Jitendra has more to say about Sachiv Ji and Rinki's relationship. He maintained that the kiss was just filmed differently, despite some people thinking Sanvikaa recommended it be removed because she felt uneasy about it. Jitendra Kumar told NDTV that "I think Sanvikaa's statement was misunderstood." When the idea for the movie was first given to me, I advised the producers to start by contacting Sanvikaa. Her consent was necessary. Our objective was that the situation be hilariously uncomfortable. As they're about to kiss—or anything similar—the light goes out. Later, we took a different approach to photographing it.

Jitendra believes kiss should not be just for the sake of it

In the past, the actor remembered kissing Ayushmann Khurrana in Shubh Mangal Zyaada Saavdhan as well as other of his co-stars. Whether it's a kiss or anything else, it must complement the screenplay. The audience should enjoy the story and be able to relate to it, he added.

Sachiv Ji is preferred above Kota Factory's Jeetu Bhaiya by Jitendra Kumar

Speaking about the series as a whole, Jitendra admitted that he was initially doubtful about Panchayat 4 after reading the first reviews, but he eventually came to terms with it because the majority of viewers loved the show.

The performer recounted how Malgudi Days was the beginning of Panchayat's adventure. He also mentioned that, despite his fondness for Kota Factory's Jeetu Bhaiya, Sachiv Ji is closer to him. "I love them both. There is a difference between bees and unnis. However, Sachivji is nearer since I can take a tour of a town. Opportunities like that
don't happen very frequently, he claimed.
