The teaser trailer for Kiss of the Spider Woman: Fans have been impatiently anticipating news about the film's release ever since Jennifer Lopez earned excellent reviews for her performance in the world premiere of this musical drama at the Sundance Film Festival. The first trailer for the movie, which features the singer singing some strong lines, was finally released on Thursday, and fans are already captivated.

Based on the renowned 1993 Broadway production by the legendary John Kander and Fred Ebb, who are best known for their work on Cabaret and Chicago, the trailer offers a peek into the amazing world of the Bill Condon directorial. In the film, Luis Molina (Tonatiuh), a homosexual window dresser, is imprisoned in Argentina's harsh "Dirty War" period for having a sexual relationship with another man. Sharing tales about his favorite movie actress, Ingrid Luna, played by Lopez, Luis fascinates his cellmate Valentine Arregui (Diego Luna). The trailer features footage of the vocalist performing live dancing and singing.

Bill Condon, the director of the critically acclaimed movies Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn-Part 1 and Beauty and the Beast, is the filmmaker. The movie is scheduled for its theatrical debut on October 10.
