Since the announcement that the Mohanlal-directed Drishyam 3 would begin filming in October 2025, followers have been anxiously anticipating any tidbits of news. The third chapter of the very successful thriller series will see Jeethu Joseph return to the director's seat. Ram, another upcoming movie starring Mohanlal, features Jeethu Joseph as well. Although this movie is completely under wraps, the Malayali director has provided a specific illustration of how Mohanlal's role in Ram will be different from Georgekutty in Drishyam.

One of the most anticipated Malayalam movies is Drishyam 3, which features Mohanlal playing Georgekutty. The characterization of Georgekutty, who employs his intelligence to outwit the cops and shield his family, was discussed by the Drishyam director Jeethu Joseph in a recent interview with Movie World Media. However, Georgekutty, unlike the heroes of popular films, never resorts to violence or beating anyone to a pulp.

"At the most he would take a stick and hit someone," Jeethu Joseph says, adding that Georgekutty, an average man, would never do such a thing. The brutal battle in Keeradam (another Mohanlal film) is comparable to Georgekutty's use of violence.

According to the director, character is the most important thing, and Mohanlal's character would act differently in a different movie. Jeethu Joseph stated, "Mohanlal would be doing a different kind of fight," as he gave another illustration from his own upcoming project, the next movie Ram.

Ram, which is billed as an action thriller, does promise that we will get to see Mohanlal in a mass version.
