One of the most anticipated sequels in Tamil cinema is the one starring actor Karthi as the protagonist in the Tamil movie Kaithi . Kaithi 2 update: The producer reveals that production on the Karthi-Lokesh Kanagaraj film has started.

The 2019 film, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, is followed by Kaithi 2, an upcoming sequel. The first installment of the LCU universe is the movie, which Dream Warrior Pictures funded. Following it are Vijay's Leo and Kamal Haasan's Vikram. Kaithi is the story of a prisoner who is freed in order to meet his child. But when a police officer requests his assistance in breaking up a drug smuggling gang, he is dragged into a world of crime.

The creators have been debating the Kaithi 2 update ever since the universe became a smash. "The works have already begun about a month back, and we will go on floors from this year end," SR Prabhu of Dream Warrior Pictures told the press recently, adding that they are already working with Karthi for another film with director Thamizh. Following the release of Coolie on August 14, Lokesh is anticipated to start working on Kaithi right away as his next movie.
