Hulu has dropped the first look at its new thriller series Red Eye. The trailer gives a sneak peek at a tense mystery happening on a packed international flight. Richard Armitage plays Dr. Matthew Nolan, while Jing Lusi is DC Hana Li. The cast also includes Lesley Sharp, Jemma Moore, Dan Li, Cash Holland, and Tai Yin Chan. Red Eye follows a flight from London to Beijing that turns dangerous when Dr. Nolan gets arrested for murder. Hana Li is assigned to escort him, assuming her job is routine. But everything changes when something strange happens on the plane. As chaos breaks out, Hana realizes she’s caught in a dangerous plot that crosses borders. She begins to question everything—Nolan’s guilt and her own part in the case.

The show was created by Peter A. Dowling and Jingan Young, with direction by Kieron Hawkes and Camilla Strøm Henriksen. Red Eye mixes the intense feeling of being trapped on a plane with a bigger, worldwide conspiracy.
