The much-anticipated horror thriller, Jinn,’ is poised to scare audiences as it prepares for a grand theatrical release on December 19. Produced by Nikhil M. Gowda under the banners of Sadalamma Film Productions and Bilva Studios, and helmed by director Chinmay Ram, the film has generated significant buzz, particularly after its spooky trailer launch event. The event saw well-known industry personalities, including producer Raj Kandukuri, Veerabhadram Chowdary, and Sohel, expressing their confidence in the project's success.

The trailer for Jinn successfully sets a suspenseful tone, immediately posing intriguing questions for the viewer: What dark secrets lurk within the college building? What is the mystery surrounding the haunted lake?

The visual snippet shows four young individuals trapped in a seemingly inescapable college structure, haunted by malevolent spirits. The introduction of the 'Jinn' element significantly amplifies the tension. The makers have clearly focused on creating a chilling atmosphere, succeeding in sending shivers down the spine of the audience even through the trailer itself. At the trailer launch, chief guest Raj Kandukuri shared his positive outlook on the film. He commented on the intriguing title, reminding the audience that a Jinn can be either good or bad. Crucially, he observed that horror films inherently carry "comparatively less risk" at the box office, provided the element of fear is executed effectively. He wished the team massive success, echoing the sentiment that quality cinema transcends language barriers.

Director Veerabhadram Chowdary also praised the trailer and director Chinmay Ram's execution, stating his belief that the film will achieve success, given the current trend of horror films performing well. Sohel also extended his best wishes, appreciating the tagline and noting the trailer’s focus on the 'bad Jinn.'

Actor Amith Rao, who plays the pivotal role of a Maulvi (a priest who controls or drives away spirits), took the opportunity to explain the film's title to the audience. He clarified that in Islam, Jinn refers to supernatural beings or spirits. He emphasized the unique nature of the film and requested the audience’s support for the release.

Co-star Parvez Simbha highlighted the team’s commitment to authenticity, stating that they conducted "extensive research on Jinns" to bring a completely new world to the screen.
