On Twitter, Priyadarshan shared a picture of Akshay Kumar and Saif Ali Khan taken at London's Lord's Stadium. In a photo he uploaded of the cast relaxing and enjoying the England vs India Test Match, he identified the film as Haiwaan. Along with the picture, he wrote, "Haiwaan my next film with Akshay Kumar and Saif Ali Khan at Lords."

Is Priyadarshan's Oppam's Hindi adaptation, Haiwaan, available?

It is said that Haiwaan is the Hindi film adaptation of Priyadarshan's own movie, Oppam. The film told the tale of Jayaraman, a visually impaired man (originally portrayed by Malayalam celebrity Mohanlal), who must defend Nandini (Meenakshi Anoop), a young girl, from a serial killer by the name of Vasu (Samuthirakani). The serial murderer is one of Nandini's father's victims, who unjustly imprisoned Vasu's father, resulting in the death of his family.
