With director Vetrimaaran and actor Suriya, the Tamil movie vaadivaasal was revealed a few years ago. Both Suriya and the filmmaker of Viduthalai had been thinking about the movie for a while. New sources claim that the project is not progressing, even though it was just lately brought back to life. The rumor has not, however, been confirmed or refuted by any official sources.

Is Vaadivaasal abandoned? What information do we have about the Suriya-Vetrimaaran initiative?

Suriya plays the main role in Aadukalam director Vetrimaaran's upcoming Tamil movie, Vaadivaasal. The movie is based on CS Chellappa's 1940 book and centers on the traditional bull-taming activity known as Jallikattu, which is practiced in the rural regions of Tami Nadu. Kalaipuli S. Thanu is the producer of the movie, which is released under the V Creations brand. The anticipation was increased by a behind-the-scenes video of Suriya training with bulls, which was made public in 2022.

The makers of Vaadivaasal recently brought it back to life after a lengthy delay caused by the epidemic and other obligations, and it was scheduled to hit floors soon. According to Thanu, GV Prakash's musical creations were already in full swing since the project had already started. Additionally, Vetrimaaran had mentioned that the project would start in the summer, but there hasn't been any news since then. But, according to recent but unverified information, the project is thought to be abandoned. For Suriya fans, this is a major letdown.

Meanwhile, Suriya is now collaborating with RJ Balaji on a movie that is presently titled Suriay 45 and stars Trisha, Swasika, and others. The Ayan performer revealed that he would also be working on a movie with Telugu director Venky Atluri.

Does Silambarasan TR collaborate with Vetrimaaran?

There is also conjecture that Vetrimaaran is working on a project with Silambarasan, who was just seen with Kamal Haasan in Thug Life. But because the Vaanam star is already scheduled for three projects, including ones with Ramkumar Balakrishnan, Desingh Periyasamy, and Ashwath Marimuthu, it is unlikely that the project will ever come to pass.
