Hari Hara Veera Mallu is just a few hours away from its release, and the buzz for the film has caught on all over. The period drama is extremely special as superstar Pawan Kalyan, also the Deputy Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, is making his comeback to Telugu cinema after a long gap.

The film has been in production for the last three years and has experienced several delays. One of the main reasons for this was Pawan Kalyan‘s political assignments, which kept him away from the shoot.

For some time, there was news that Hari Hara Veera Mallu was the story of a freedom fighter from the Mughal era, but we have come to know that the film is indeed set in the Mughal era of Aurangzeb, but it is not based on a true character. Hari Hara Veera Mallu is a fictional character based in a real historical setting. He is a Telugu leader who fought for independence.

One of the main aspects that has been kept a secret is that Hari Hara Veera Mallu is about the prestigious Kohinoor diamond. The film centres around this aspect, and the character of Hari Hara Veera Mallu is on the lookout for this prestigious diamond. What role does this diamond play? Where did it go? How did it reach various hands, and what is its backstory? All this has been presented in a fictional tone, say the makers.

Bobby Deol plays the role of Aurangzeb in the film, and his role is going to be quite key. Post the success of Animal, his role in Hari Hara Veera Mallu was altered significantly, and he now has a role equal to that of Pawan Kalyan. Nidhhi Agerwal plays a princess in the film and also has a key role. 

On the other hand, fans of Pawan Kalyan can see him in a completely new avatar. It has been quite some time since he has done an out-and-out action film. In all his interviews, Pawan Kalyan has stated that he designed a few action sequences in the film, including one of the climax sequences, as the film will be high on martial arts.

The makers also revealed that Kalyan's character is inspired by the late MGR and NTR, the legends of Indian cinema. The makers have spent a lot of money on the sets and the VFX part. For the general audience, Hari Hara Veera Mallu is going to be a visual treat. M.M. Keeravani, the Oscar Award winner, has composed the music, and his background score is going to be one of the biggest highlights.

This movie, which has been produced in two parts, also features Brahmanandam. The second half of the series will begin production within a month after the release of the first half on July 24, 2025. The creators said that 40% of the second piece has already been finished.

The excitement for the movie has finally increased now that Pawan Kalyan has resumed his marketing efforts. It has been banned with a U/A license. The movie lasts two hours and forty-three minutes. In the last week of August 2025, Amazon Prime Video will broadcast HHVM after acquiring the exclusive rights to the movie for a high sum.
