One of the long-awaited projects of Tamil film, which has not yet been realized, is Dhruva Natchathiram. The movie, which Gautham Vasudev Menon is said to have directed and stars Vikram in the main role, is described as a slick spy action thriller. The filmmaker recently stated that he is still committed to bringing the movie to theaters and that viewers are likely to see it this year, despite the ongoing wait.

Gautham Menon discloses that he is putting in a lot of effort to release Dhruva Natchathiram in June 2025.

After a 12-year wait, this year's Madha Gaja Raja was released in theaters and became a commercial hit, which inspired director Gautham Vasudev to release Dhruva Natchathiram.

Dhruva Natchathiram, which stars Ritu Varma, R. Parthiban, Radhika Sarathkumar, Simran, and Vinayakan, was first presented to Suriya in 2013. He eventually dropped the endeavor. After being brought back to life in 2015 with Vikram, it remained in production until 2017. However, the movie has not yet made it to theaters since it is facing financial difficulties and the pandemic has exacerbated the situation.

In a recent video, a Tamil online film reviewer called Gautham Menon, who stated that he has signed nothing at the moment and is concentrating on releasing Dhruva Natchathiram. "We have shown the film to investors, and the film has come out good. We are sorting out the legal issues and I think between July and August, we will come,” said Gautham Menon.

DD Next Level and Gautham Menon's Bazooka to release on OTT shortly

Gautham Menon was recently seen in Santhanam-starrer DD Next Level and in Malayalam film Bazooka alongside Mammootty. Both the films are heading for an OTT premie re on ZEE5 and will soon be available on OTTplay Premium as well. While the Tamil horror comedy DD Next Level will drop on June 13, a date for Bazooka is yet to be announced.
