Golden Star Ganesh is said to be getting back together with director Srinivasa Raju, who directed him in the successful 2024 film, Krishnam Pranaya Sakhi. Srinivasa Raju, who was previously recognized for his work on the extremely brutal Dandupalya film series, is reportedly considering directing another romantic comedy aimed at families, similar to Krishnam Pranaya Sakhi.

Srinivasa Raju to collaborate with Hesham Abdul Wahab

The director, who has repeatedly stated that music is a fundamental element of romantic films, is, however, taking a different approach with the soundtrack. He is working with Hesham Abdul Wahab, a Malayalam composer who has also ventured into Telugu films with movies like Hi Nanna and Kushi.

Netizens are surprised by this decision because the success of Krishnam Pranaya Sakhi was fueled by composer Arjun Janya's popular music. The music was what compelled viewers to theaters since Srinivasa Raju had not shown a trailer before the film's release, and songs like Dwapara, Chinnamma, Hey Gagana, and others were tremendous successes.

"Film hit agidu arjun janya songs inda; iga avare illa," was a popular saying on social media after the announcement of the Ganesh-Srinivasa Raju partnership. When Krishnam Pranaya Sakhi was released in theaters and became a runaway success, the word on the street was that the team had presented a tale with no novelty whatsoever. However, since Kannada audiences had not seen a family movie in theaters in a while, they chose whatever was available, which just happened to be Ganesh's film.

As a wealthy businessman, Krishnam Pranaya Sakhi had the Golden Star, but he kept his identity a secret from Pranaya, an orphan from a middle-class family, while courting her. However, following their wedding, they are the victims of a brutal assault, which causes him to forget his recent memories, such as his relationship with Pranaya. Malvika Nair made her debut in Kannada films with the movie.
