A teaser for the forthcoming Malayalam film Flask was published by its producers today (June 20). The video gives a glimpse into the main characters of this comedy drama, although it doesn't reveal a lot about the storyline.

The one-minute, nineteen-second footage gives a peek into the life of PSO Jyothi Kumar, a talented singer and mischievous cop. Additionally, it makes reference to his recent employment as a security officer for a harsh and intolerant judge. They don't appear to get along very well. The two, though, seem to be held captive by Maoists, which throws their lives into disarray. The teaser, all in all, points towards an entertaining comedy drama. The father of Jyothi Kumar seems to be portrayed by Balachandran Chullikkad.

Latest news on the theatrical release of Flask

The police drama, starring Saiju Kurup, will be released on the big screen in July, according to sources. The actor's other film, Written & Directed by God, was released in theaters in June. In the upcoming days, a trailer and a confirmed release date are expected.

Suresh Krishna and Siddarth Bharathan also played key roles in this film, along with Aswathy Sreekanth and Balachandran Chullikkad. Rahul Riji Nair, who is well-known for his directing work in movies like Kho-Kho and Keedam, is the director of this picture. His most recent web series, Jai Mahendran, which features Saiju in the main role and Rahul in a supporting role, is now available on Sony LIV and OTTplay Premium. The director authored the screenplay for Flask himself.

In February of this year, the filmmaker announced the completion of the film's production by sharing an Instagram photo of the key cast and crew. Jayakrishnan Vijayan supervised the cinematography, while Christy Sebastian served as the editor. Sid Pradeep wrote the score for Flask's music. This comedic play was funded by Rathish M M, Rahul Riji Nair, and Lijo Joseph.
