Maareesan, the upcoming film starring actors Fahadh Faasil and Vadivelu in the lead roles, is set to release very soon. Directed by Sudheesh Sankar, Maareesan will release on July 25. Produced by RB Choudary under the Super Good Films banner, the upcoming film is helmed by Sudheesh Sankar.

We had earlier reported that actors Fahadh Faasil and Vadivelu will be collaborating for a Tamil film Maareesan. The makers on Saturday announced that the film will hit theatres on July 25, with a new poster featuring the lead actors.

Directed by Sudheesh Sankar, the film is bankrolled by RB Choudary under the Super Good Films banner. Maareesan is the 100th venture of Super Good Films. Besides Vadivelu and Fahadh Faasil, the cast of Maareesan also includes Kovai Sarala, Vivek Prasanna, Sithara, PL Thenappan, Livingston, Renuka, Saravana Subbiah, Krishna, Haritha, and Telephone Raja.

The story, screenplay and dialogues for the upcoming film is done by V Krishna Moorthy who is also the creative director. Yuvan Shankar Raja is composing the music with Kalaiselvan Sivaji cranking the camera. Sreejith Sarang is the editor.

Maareesan's post-theatrical rights have been acquired by Netlfix. The film's trailer was made public by the crew some time ago. It displayed the journey of two men who appeared to be traveling together. The film's trailer may reveal more about the plot. The teaser depicted the story of the two main characters, with Vadivelu playing another role supported by an author.

In the interim, you may watch Fahadh Faasil and Vadivelu's debut partnership in Maamannan. On Netflix, you may watch the social drama that was written and directed by filmmaker Mari Selvaraj. Udhayanidhi Stalin and Keerthy Suresh are also included in Maamannan. The movie centers around the systemic and political oppression based on caste.
