The upcoming Telugu movie, Uppu Kappurambu, will be available on Amazon Prime on July 4, 2025. The movie, a satirical comedy about the burial system in a small community in Andhra Pradesh, will feature Keerthy Suresh in the lead role, with Suhas of Colour Photo fame in a significant supporting part.

For someone like Suhas, who has never worked alongside Keerthy Suresh before, this is a fantastic opportunity, and he claims that playing alongside such a well-known actress is a dream come true. I was overjoyed when I learned that Keerthy Suresh was in the movie, but I was even more thrilled the moment I heard my strange role, Suhas explains.

In a tiny cemetery that is the subject of controversy, Keerthy Suresh will portray a government employee who is compelled to assign cremation sites. Keerthy Suresh receives assistance from Suhas, who works at the burial site, during the course of the movie. Keerthy Suresh, according to Suhas, delivers an outstanding performance in the movie.

"In Uppu Kappurambu, you will see a new side of Keerthy Suresh that will be a nice surprise. My character acts strangely as well as her. Because our director, Sasi, didn't want his characters to act in a conventional manner, it was his concept. Therefore, you will perceive us in a completely different light, and Keerthy has nailed her enjoyable character," Suhas continues.

Suhas pins a lot of hopes on Uppu Kappurambu

The noted actor goes on to add that he had a lot of apprehensions as to how a star like Keerthy Suresh would behave, but was pleasantly surprised with the way she was so grounded and supported him throughout the shoot.

Keerthy Suresh is making a comeback to Telugu cinema after a long gap, and her geeky look in the film looks quite interesting. For Suhas, it is an important film, as the success of Uppu Kappurambu will take him deep into the audience, as the film is releasing on Amazon Prime.
