Following a successful theatrical run of more than 40 days, Malayalam's newest film, Narivetta, is getting ready for its OTT premiere on July 11 on OTTplay Premium and Sony LIV. Tovino Thomas, Suraj Venjaramoodu, and Arya Salim play the main roles in the film, which is directed by Anuraj Manohar. Additionally, it marks the Malayalam film debut of Tamil director and actor Cheran. Anuraj discussed his experience collaborating with the well-known director in an interview only available on OTTplay.

Narivetta was the location of Cheran's Malayalam debut.

Anuraj thinks that the movie's plot may have convinced Cheran to finally make his Malayalam debut after many years. "Even if it is evident that he had previously been presented with a lot of possibilities in Malayalam, he must have had his own opinions. He said, "I'm glad I was able to invite him over for my dream project." According to the director, Cheran, who has directed many well-known Tamil movies that have been lauded by critics, may have been persuaded to work on this project just on its plot.

He was there backstage, behind the cameras on the set, even if it wasn't his role to act. He was completely immersed in learning about the making of the film rather than simply sitting in a caravan, he went on. Cheran, a director who has won four National Awards, recently starred in the Tamil film Bioscope: The Story of the Story as a guest. The online series Cheran's Journey, which Cheran also directed, is available for viewing on Sony LIV and OTTplay Premium.

Sony LIV will broadcast Narivetta in several languages.

On July 11, Sony LIV will begin broadcasting the realistic police drama in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Kannada, and Malayalam. The film was praised by viewers for its depiction of a community's steadfast opposition to institutional oppression. Furthermore, the story was compelling because of the emotionally charged performances in this compelling sociopolitical drama. Abin Joseph wrote the script for the movie. The thriller's background music and soundtrack were composed by Jakes Bejoy.
