Maareesan release date

Maareesan is an upcoming Tamil thriller drama, which is set to hit big screens this week. The film will release on July 25 in theatres. It will coincide with the release of another Tamil film, Thalaivan Thalaivii which stars Vijay Sethupathi and Nithya Menen in the lead roles.

The creators recently posted the trailer for Maareesan on social media. The movie trailer mostly focuses on two main characters, played by Fahadh Faasil and Vadivelu. We perceive that Fahadh's character is suspicious as we watch the two men drive about in a somewhat frightening manner. He seems to be attempting to rob Vadivelu, who has a lot of cash. After receiving money from an ATM, the latter seems to be aware of what he is dealing with. The pair travels to Thiruvanamalai by bicycle to deliver Vadivelu there. As the police are monitoring a motorbike, we can observe the pair sharing several moments.

The Maareesan plan

Two men are the center of the plot of Maareesan, which follows their bike adventure. In the movie, Vadivelu plays an Alzheimer's sufferer, while Fahadh Faasil seems to be a swindler out to steal the money. The remainder of the movie focuses on his success or failure.

Following Maamannan, Vadivelu and Fahadh Faasil will collaborate once again with Maareesan. Sudheesh Sankar is the director of the picture, and V. Krishna Moorthy, the creative director, wrote the screenplay, plot, and lines. Renowned performers like Kovai Sarala, Vivek Prasanna, Sithara, PL Thenappan, Livingston, Renuka, Saravana Subbiah, Krishna, Haritha, and Telephone Raja are also included in the film, which was produced by RB Choudhary under Super Good Films. Yuvan Shankar Raja wrote the music for Maareesan, and Kalaiselvan Sivaji operated the camera. The editor is Sreejith Sarang.

Netflix has bagged the post-theatrical streaming rights of the film. The OTT release date of the film is not yet announced.
