With consecutive failures, Telugu actor Nithiin is experiencing the worst period of his career. He had already suffered three box office failures in his most recent movies, and he had high expectations for his most recent one, Thammudu, which Dil Raju produced on a large scale.

For his next, Nithiin makes a daring choice

Despite the excellent buzz generated by the trailer, the movie performed poorly at the box office due to the incoherent narrative provided by director Venu Sreeram. The movie received such bad reviews that it was removed from theaters only two days after its release.. 

Dil Raju suffered significant losses on the movie, which had a budget of more than ₹ 40 crore. The film's digital rights have been purchased by Amazon Prime Video, which plans to stream it during the last week of July 2025.

Nithin, however, has moved on from the situation and is now focused on his upcoming movie, named Yellamma. The script of Yellamma has been finalized by Venu Yeldandi, the director of the award-winning film Balagam, and the filming schedules have been arranged so that the film will be completed in four months. In 2026, the producers intend to debut the movie in the beginning of the year.

We now know that Nithin is not paid anything for the movie. Nithiin recently told Dil Raju that he would not charge any money and would only accept a share of the revenues if the movie is a smash, according to the news. Dil Raju has approved Nithiin's request, and the current information is that Yellamma will be produced on a very modest budget.

Venu Yeldandi's dream project is called Yellamma

For a long time, Venu Yeladandi, the creator of the popular small-town village drama Balagam, has referred to Yellamma as his dream project. The fact that Nithin was roped in for such a rural drama has sparked discussion everywhere, as the movie features no hero worship, no music, and no battles. In this movie, the star cast of which will be announced soon, Nithin will play another back-to-roots role.
