Prithviraj Sukumaran returns to Bollywood

In Malayalam cinema, Prithviraj Sukumaran is a genuine celebrity and director, but his Bollywood pursuits have been somewhat restricted. With Aiyyaa, which co-starred Rani Mukerji, the 42-year-old actor made his debut in Hindi cinema in 2012. After that, he starred in Bade Miyan Chote Miyan (2024) and Naam Shabana (2017). With Sarzameen, Prithviraj is now back in Bollywood, playing the lead role with Kajol.

Kashmir serves as the backdrop for the high-octane military drama, which examines the themes of love of country and sacrifice for the sake of the nation. The story centers on an Army soldier who is torn between his love for his family and his obligations to his country. In addition to being a political thriller, the movie will delve into the themes of parental love, betrayal, familial strife, and emotional anguish.

Kayoze Irani makes his directing debut.

Following in the footsteps of his veteran and accomplished father, Boman Irani, Kayoze Irani is trying his hand at Hindi films. In contrast to his actor father, though, Kayoze is launching his career as a filmmaker with Sarzameen. There is a lot of curiosity about what the young filmmaker has planned for the audience.
