Director Sets the Record Straight on Mohanlal, Amal Neerad, Asif Ali, and Soubin Shahir Collaboration

Every Amal There are certain expectations associated with a Neerad movie. For this reason, there is much speculation about the ace filmmaker's future endeavors. Over the last year, rumors have circulated that the Big B director will be working with some of the biggest names in the business for his upcoming film, including Mammootty, Dulquer Salmaan, Suriya, and Mohanlal.
After Sagar Alias Jacky Reloaded in 2009, the most recent social media rumors suggest that he will be working with Mohanlal again on a high-budget movie that also stars Soubin Shahir and Asif Ali. The grapevine has been abuzz, with rumors that the movie will have 150 days of photography and that Soubin has chosen to promote his directing with Dulquer Salmaan in order to complete his parts for the Amal Neerad-Mohanlal picture, which is said to be funded by Aashirvad Cinemas.

The director responded, "There's still no clarity on what my next project will be. Every morning there’s something new about my upcoming film on social media that I am not aware of,” when OTTplay contacted Amal Neerad to ask whether such a project is in the works.
Nevertheless, the director does not dispute that his next project will star a celebrity. "To be honest, there have been many ongoing discussions. But we are yet to decide on which film will be next," he says.
Bougainvillea, which was based on Lajo Jose's novel Ruthinte Lokam and featured Kunchacko Boban and Jyothirmayi in the lead roles, with Fahadh Faasil making a cameo appearance, was Amal Neerad's prior picture.

The future films of Mohanlal
In the meanwhile, Mahesh Narayanan's film, which is currently titled Patriot, will star Mammootty and Mohanlal in the same role. The film also stars Nayanthara, Fahadh Faasil, and Kunchacko Boban. The film is scheduled to be released in 2026, and Mohanlal is now in Sri Lanka finishing filming his scenes.
Dileep's Bha.Bha.Bha, Telugu-Malayalam bilingual Vrushabha, and Sathyan Anthikad's Hridayapoorvam, which will be an Onam release, are among the other films starring the Thudarum star. Vishnu Manchu's Kannappa, which is scheduled for release on June 27, will also feature him.
