Diljit Dosanjh is now working hard on Sunny Deol's Border 2. In the middle of all of this, he will be seen in the soon-to-be-released comedy mystery picture, Detective Sherdil. The movie promises to be entertaining, amusing, and enjoyable. The release date and OTT platform have been made public on social media by the producers.

Get ready for a full entertainer as Diljit Dosanjh is set to play a quirky detective in the upcoming ZEE5 film, Detective Sherdil, releasing on ZEE5 on 20th June 2025. The film will tell the story of a unique detective who is tasked with solving a case that is far from ordinary. The film has a mixed content of suspense, mystery with a hilarious tone. 

Detective Sherdil will be available for streaming on OTTplay Premium as well once it's released.

Ravi Chhabriya's debut direction, Detective Sherdil, follows his collaboration with Ali Abbas Zafar on films like Tiger Zinda Hai, Bharat, and Sultan.

In addition to Diana Penty, Boman Irani, Chunky Panday, Ratna Pathak Shah, Banita Sandhu, and Sumeet Vyas, Detective Sherdil also stars them. After Jogi, it's Ali Abbas Zafar's second time working with Diljit Dosanjh, and Ali Abbas Zafar, Sagar Bajaj, and Ravi Chhabriya co-authored it.

Ali Abbas Zafar remarked about his collaboration with Diljit Dosanjh and Detective Sherdil, "Diljit and I have previously worked on Jogi. I was convinced that we had to collaborate once more after finishing that movie. We have some of the greatest stars, and I still can't believe we've finished our second collaboration as we bring Detective Sherdil to viewers on ZEE5!

Additionally, he stated that the movie is a complete family watch that will make audiences laugh with humor and be captivated by suspense.

In the meantime, Detective Sherdil, created by Himanshu Mehra, Ali Abbas Zafar, Rohini Singh, and Manmeet Singh, is scheduled to debut on ZEE5 on June 20, 2025.
