The new poster for Detective Sherdil was released by Diljit Dosanjh. Diljit, a Punjab-based singer and actor who has been in the news for a number of reasons, is back on the job and has pledged to go after anybody he suspects, hours after introducing us to the "chudels" from his forthcoming film, Sardaar Ji 3. Sherdil the detective has arrived!

In the first poster from Detective Sherdil, Diljit Dosanjh is already pointing the finger gun at you. Although Detective Sherdil's poster is simple, Diljit makes it extremely effective. His face is the main focus, with sleepless eyes and an expression that suggests he might sniff you out or smile at any moment. The poster has a significant effect because of it.

The third update from Sardaar Ji

In his most recent Instagram post, Diljit Dosanjh unveiled the three Sardaar Ji chudels. He reunites with Neeru Bajwa in the film. Although Diljit has been teasing us with the teaser release, the actor has not yet revealed when the film will be out.

An update on Detective Sherdil

Detective Sherdil is a Zee5 release that is scheduled to be available on June 20 (yes, the same day that Aamir Khan's Sitaare Zameen Par will be in theaters). With an OTTplay Premium membership, the movie is available for streaming. Since Jogi, Diljit has collaborated with Ali Abbas Zafar, who directed Tiger Zinda Hai for Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif, for the second time in Detective Sherdil. It's interesting to note that Diljit appeared in the film despite the fact that the entire script was in English and he had not read it. Diana Penty, Boman Irani, Chunky Panday, Ratna Pathak Shah, Banita Sandhu, and Sumeet Vyas also play important roles in the Ravi Chhabriya film.
