Diljit Dosanjh has been the subject of media attention for the past several weeks because of his movie Sardaar Ji 3, which he produced with Pakistani actress Hania Aamir. Due to the controversy, there were multiple rumors that Diljit would be replaced in Border 2. Diljit seems unaffected by these problems as he posted another amusing video from the film's set on Instagram, where he was having fun with his co-stars Varun Dhawan, Ahan Shetty, and Mona Singh.

On the Border 2 set, Diljit has a blast.

The reel begins with Diljit narrating a day of filming with the cast and crew on the set of Border 2 in his distinctive Punjabi-style voiceover. Rain ruined what was supposed to be a daytime shoot. "Tension mitro ko hain nahi hum mazey karegey (No need to take tension, we will have fun)."

Diljit was also seen socializing on set with Anees Bazmee and Boney Kapoor, but as he said, "Ye Border ke director saab shooting chhor ke humare saath hi baith gaye (Even the director has joined to chat with us)!" The rain, however, did not dampen the spirits.

Following a brief coffee break, Diljit prepared for the remainder of the day. Then, he was seen chatting with Mona Singh, who expressed her enthusiasm for working with him and wished him the best of luck.

Regarding the debate

Following his collaboration with Pakistani actress Hania Aamir in Sardaar Ji 3, there have been calls for Diljit to be banned and his next film to be released. The movie premiered abroad on June 27, but not in India. Diljit Dosanjh's casting in Border 2 had let down FWICE, as stated in a letter to the film's creators.

In the aftermath of the latest Pahalgam terror assault on April 22 and India's Operation Sindoor on May 7, which saw airstrikes on terrorist targets in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir, the dispute broke out.

The 1997 hit Border will have its follow-up in Border 2. Anurag Singh is the director. Diljit joined the team in September of the previous year.
