On December 5, 2025, the movie Dhurandhar will be released in theaters. The movie is said to be based on actual instances of Indian espionage, perhaps influenced by the work of the Research and Analysis Wing (RAW). In the initial image released on Ranveer Singh's birthday, he appears to be in a rugged, intense guise, indicating a change from his typical flamboyant persona. The movie is expected to combine patriotism, personal sacrifice, and intense action with some degree of emotional drama.

In addition to Ranveer Singh, the film features a talented ensemble cast that includes Sanjay Dutt, R. Madhavan, Arjun Rampal, and Akshaye Khanna. In the meanwhile, the movie features R. Madhavan in the role of Ajit Doval, a genuine spy chief.
