Kuberaa, starring Dhanush, Nagarjuna, and Rashmika Mandanna, was one of the most anticipated releases of the year, according to the first day's box office results. The film was well received by critics, who singled out Dhanush's portrayal of a beggar. According to the most recent information from Sacnilk.com, Kuberaa's opening day revenue was under ₹15 crore.

An update on the Kuberaa box office

The report notes that, according to preliminary estimates, Kuberaa has amassed ₹ 12.98 crore. Kuberaa's initial day collections are less than Raayan, Dhanush's previous theatrical release, which brought in 15.7 crores.

On Friday, Kuberaa's total Telugu occupancy rate was 50.19%. Morning show occupancy was 38.94%, while afternoon show occupancy was 54.58%. The evening performance's numbers rose to 57.04%.

As it approaches the weekend, Kuberaa is expected to maintain its momentum thanks to positive word of mouth. In the Hindi market, Sitaare Zameen Par is one of its rivals. The Amigos Creations team, made up of Suniel Narang and Puskur Rammohan Rao, is responsible for creating Kuberaa.

The movie was shown at the first day, first show at Rohini Silver Screens in Chennai on Friday, and Dhanush saw it with his son Linga. The warm and enthusiastic reaction to the movie made the actor appear moved. In another video, he seemed overcome by emotion as crowds cheered for him, climbed the walls to get a glimpse of him, and tried to shake his hand. His protectors were observed urging people to lie down and attempting to manage the throng.

After 19 scenes were removed from the original version, the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) granted a UA certificate for the pan-Indian release. This resulted in a reduction of 13 minutes and 41 seconds in the film's length.
