The recently released Tamil-Telugu movie Kuberaa, starring Dhanush, Nagarjuna, and others, is ready for its OTT debut. Prime Video has acquired the film's post-theatrical streaming rights and has set the release date, as we previously stated. The site recently verified that Kuberaa will be available for streaming beginning on July 18.

In the social thriller drama Kuberaa, Dhanush—an actor and filmmaker—was last seen. The movie starred the actor in the lead role and was directed by Sekhar Kammula, a Telugu filmmaker. Additionally, Nagarjuna, Rashmika Mandanna, Jim Sarbh, and others make up the ensemble cast of the movie.

The film will premiere on Prime Video after its theatrical release in June. The streaming of Kuberaa will commence on July 18 in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Malayalam, and Kannada. Sekhar Kammula, a National Award-winning director, is the director of the social drama thriller.

In the movie, Nagarjuna Akkineni portrays a prominent intellectual who formerly worked for the government but has now turned to supporting a corrupt businessman, while Dhanush plays the role of a beggar. The movie follows a cat-and-mouse game between Nagarjuna and Dhanush's characters as they become embroiled in a financial fraud. The movie takes place in Mumbai, India's financial hub, and examines themes of morality, money, and redemption.

What do we know about Kuberaa?

Kuberaa marks the first time Sekhar Kammula and Dhanush collaborated. The film opened to good reviews upon its release, with Dhanush’s performance lauded and many predicting that he will bag another National Film Award. The film has music by Devi Sri Prasad. Kuberaa had a good box office run in Telugu as compared to Tamil.

Meanwhile, Dhanush’s next film to release is Idly Kadai which is directed by himself. The film is slated for release on October 2. It will see him reunite with his Thiruchitrambalam co-star Nithya Menen.
