In more than a year, Daali Dhananjaya has not released a Kannada film in theaters with him as the protagonist; his most recent release was Kotee. It will be some time before Kannada viewers see him on screen again since he had roles in movies like Vidyapati, Zebra, and Pushpa 2: The Rule. The project was brought to a halt when co-star Shivarajkumar's poor health compelled the actor and his Rathnan Prapancha director Rohit Padaki to stop filming Uttarakaanda.

Anna: Dhananjaya Approximately 70% of the work has been completed in Mexico

After another break for his wedding, he has returned to work, starting with the movie he is producing with his Badava Rascal filmmaker Shankar Guru, titled Anna From Mexico. Reeshma Nanaiah is paired with Dhananjaya in the film. However, will it be his release for 2025? “We are a little behind schedule for Anna From Mexico, which we plan to release in 2025, due to the rains in Karnataka. For nearly a month, we were unable to take any pictures. About 60 to 70 percent of the movie is complete, and we should be able to finish it soon," said the actor. "We have now restarted in Bengaluru and Mysuru, and we have a foreign schedule after that.

With Hemanth M Rao, Dhananjaya will next take on the 666 Operation Dream Theater. What became of Shashank Soghal's Jingo, the director of Daredevil Mustafa, which was revealed a long time ago? "That is still in the writing process. We are optimistic that we will be able to finalize the last version soon. I don't like schedule breaks," he continues, "so I will finish off Hemanth's movie in the meantime and then start Jingo. I like to complete a project as soon as possible after it begins. Therefore, before hitting the floors, we have chosen to handle all the pre-production and make certain that everything is in place.

“Finish them off in start-to-finish schedules and move on to the next,” was the same approach he took with his home films Badava Rascal and Head Bush. Working in this manner has a particular vibe to it. It gets hard to control when there are a lot of holes. Uttrakaanda is currently the only state that has been placed on hold, but it is anticipated that it will soon be back on track. We will be able to learn more about Rohit's forthcoming film, Ekka, when it is released next month, according to Dhananjaya.
