The much-awaited Demon Slayer Infinity Castle movie Part 1 trailer has revealed the long-anticipated fight between Tanjiro and Akaza. They both have been waiting to pick up their swords against one another since Mugen Train, and the moment gets closer. The trailer of the movie that is officially titled Akaza’s Return unveils that the much-awaited fight will happen. Here's everything you can expect...

Tanjiro's side

Kamado Tanjiro has been waiting for the moment to fight Muzan, but that would be the ultimate battle. He had been training with Giyu Tomioka for the biggest battle, and it was interrupted by Muzan who killed the ultimate master, Kagaya Ubuyashiki. Tanjiro is already furious and he has not forgotten how Akaza, ranked third in Upper Rank Three among demons (the most powerful after Muzan) killed Fire Hashira Kyojuro Rengoku without using much of his potential just because it was about to be daytime.

Akaza's side

Similar to Tanjiro, Akaza has been waiting for the day he can face him since the Mugen Train tragedy. Ever since then, he has been worried, and the producers have consistently demonstrated this to us throughout the series. In the end, he views it as a chance to get revenge for belittling his abilities by keeping him busy until sunrise, as happened during the Mugen Train catastrophe. Given that both Tanjiro and Akaza have been waiting for a long time, this is certain to be a fascinating battle.

The narrative of Shinobu Kocho is likely to be discussed.

The first film of the Demon Slayer Infinity Castle movie: Part 1 may explore the history surrounding Kocho's fight that resulted in her tragic death, with Kanao Tsuyuri also battling Upper Rank Two Doma and Butterfly Hashira Shinobu Kocho's reason for dying being hinted at.

Whether the creators plan to release Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle as a series similar to the prior seasons is still unknown. On September 12, 2025, the first film will be released in Indian cinemas.
